These Terms & Conditions apply to the Speedline Driving School website and to driving lessons booked with us. Please read them before using our website or booking a lesson.

1. About us

Speedline Driving School provides driving tuition in Nottingham and surrounding areas. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Speedline Driving School.

2. Website use

We aim to keep this website accurate and up to date, but information on it is provided for general guidance only. We may change, remove or update website content, lesson availability and pricing at any time. You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with it, or use its content for any unlawful purpose.

3. Enquiries and bookings

Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking or guarantee availability. A lesson is confirmed only when we have agreed a date and time with you. Please provide accurate contact details and tell us about any information that may be relevant to your driving tuition.

4. Lesson fees and payment

Lesson prices and package prices are those agreed at the time of booking. Payment arrangements will be confirmed before your lesson or package begins. Any promotional offer or package may be subject to separate conditions, including an expiry date or minimum booking requirement.

5. Cancellations and changes

Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson. We recommend at least 48 hours’ notice. Lessons cancelled with less notice may be charged in full, except where we agree otherwise. We may need to rearrange or cancel a lesson because of illness, vehicle safety, severe weather, road conditions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where possible, we will offer an alternative time.

6. Your responsibilities

You must hold a valid provisional driving licence and bring it to your first lesson if requested. You must be fit to drive and tell your instructor about any health condition, medication, eyesight issue or other matter that could affect your ability to drive safely. You must not attend a lesson under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that affects your ability to drive.

7. Safety and instructor decisions

Your safety and the safety of other road users is our priority. The instructor may end or refuse a lesson if they reasonably believe it would be unsafe to continue. This includes where a learner is unfit to drive, does not hold the required licence, or behaves in a threatening, abusive or unsafe manner.

8. Driving tests

We cannot guarantee that a learner will pass a driving test, obtain a test date, or that a test will proceed as planned. Decisions made by the DVSA, driving examiners and test centres are outside our control. Where an instructor’s car is used for a test, this is subject to the instructor’s approval and the learner being suitably prepared.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Subject to this, we are not responsible for indirect loss or loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. You remain responsible for complying with road traffic laws and for your conduct while driving, except where liability arises from our negligence or breach of duty.

10. Privacy

We use personal information supplied through enquiries and bookings to respond to you and provide our services. Please contact us if you would like more information about how we handle your personal data.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this website applies from its stated update date.
